If you've always wanted to try quilting, this class is the place to start! Using one of my original designs, I will guide you through measuring and cutting, piecing, basting, quilting, and binding. Learn what makes a quilt "modern," color and pattern selection, and helpful tips for creating your own original quilts. By course end, you'll have assembled a simple quilt top, basted your quilt, and have the skills to add the finishing touches. Bring your sewing machine to class and visit whatcomcommunityed.com to enroll. Prerequisite: basic sewing skills and working knowledge of your sewing machine.
Fall 2018: This class takes place during two sessions. Mondays, Oct. 29 & Nov. 5. 6-9p.m.
